The Elephant Sanctuary and Bush Baby Monkey Sanctuary is nesteld in pristine, unspoiled bush, in Hartbeespoort. The Elephant Sanctuary is about one hours drive from Pretoria and Johannesburg. The Bush Baby Monkey Sanctuary primates, such as squirrel, spider and capuchin monkeys, are given a new lease of life at the Sanctuary. Guests leave this sanctuary with the understanding that monkeys do not make good pets, and they are better suited to a natural, free-living environment. Lesedi Cultural Village

Lion Park

Soweto Full Day Tour

Sterkfontein Caves and Maropeng
Sterkfontein (Afrikaans for ‘Strong Spring’) is a paleo-anthropologists dream, located 40 kms North West of Johannesburg. Sterkfontein is a South African National Heritage site and also declared a
World Heritage site in 2000. The area in which it is situated, was named the Cradle of Humankind. Within the caves, scientists have discovered many homid and other animal fossils which are predicted to be more than 4 million years old. Maropeng is the official visitor centre for the Cradle of Humankind World Heritage site. The name means “returning of the place of origin”. Inside the tumulus building, you will find fun, interactive displays that could keep you occupied for a long time.
